Livorno, the
third largest city in Tuscany, consists of
five numbered districts, in turn divided into
neighborhoods. The historic center of Livorno (districts
Pentagono del Buontalenti with Piazza
della Repubblica, and those of Cavour,
Venezia and Mazzini) flows along the
stretch of sea, towards the district of the Porto
Mediceo (Medici Port), cruise terminal, those
of Porta a Mare, Borgo Cappuccini,
Terrace Mascagni, in turn surrounded by as many
historic districts.

The area of the central train station of Livorno is
moved just east of the port, while the historic Old Fortress
(Fortezza Vecchia) and New Fortress (Fortezza Nuova) are located
at the extreme limits of the neighborhood Venezia, along
the channels known as Fossi Medici, namely the large
military ditches born to isolate the city and its fortresses.
The ZTL Livorno, limited traffic area, is active
every weekday from 07:30 to 20:00 and is divided into 6
distinct areas: B, C, D, E, K barrata, M Barrata. Around the ZTL
there are pedestrian areas, including via Ricasoli and via
Cairoli. We also find a ZTL at night in Via della Venezia
(open every day from 20:00 to 07:30 in the morning), which
includes the pedestrian area of Scali Monte Pio.
The control gates of the Livorno ZTL are located in the
following streets: Via Goldoni - Via Cadorna - Corso Mazzini -
Via Fiume - Via San Francesco - Scali Ponte Marmo - Scali Monte
Pio (exit) - Via della Venezia corner via Borra - Via della
Venezia entrance Piazza del Luogo Pio - Via dei Bagnetti. The
accommodation facilities located within the LTZ of Livorno
have a maximum number of permits in the proportion of 1/3 of the
number of rooms.
The parking lots in Livorno are also distributed along the
particularly tourist areas. To access the ZTL of the
marina for example (those D and E), you could park in the area
of the airports D'Azeglio and Via Diaz. But let's see below a
